We are an emerging online learning platform venture-backed by Baidu, the Google of China, called USKid. Our mission is to raise the English fluency of native Chinese speakers by leveraging the potential of online education to connect teachers from English-speaking countries with young, upstart students in China.
We believe that every single person deserves the chance to experience and engage with the world. Knowing English serves as a key; unlocking any number of exciting opportunities. Our hope is to give our students the tools necessary to fully take advantage of life.
We teach students a 1-on-1 English immersion curriculum online in an interactive, virtual classroom.
We are committed to provide our students with an education of the highest quality. Our mission is to raise the English fluency of native Chinese speakers by leveraging the potential of online education. Our curriculum is carefully designed by life-long educators who truly care about the wellbeing of students.
Our students are why we exist. We aim to give our students an advantage in life by teaching them a 1-on-1 English immersion curriculum from an early age. We realize the importance of student engagement and so we provide them an environment to foster curiosity, creativity and critical thinking.
We recognize that both students and teachers are vital, and so we behave accordingly. For instance, not only do we offer teachers convenience and flexibility in their schedules – asking them only to commit a minimum of 5 teaching hours per week – but we encourage them all to give us feedback on areas we can improve. An open line of communication with our teachers is something in which we place great importance.
Our tech industry lineage in China has forced us to learn that innovation is required to survive. As such, we have made efforts to painstakingly craft innovative elements throughout our service. One area where this innovation is apparent is in our industry-first teacher point system. This point system provides teachers with a clear path for advancement and opportunities for future personal and professional development.
